Electrical Pneumatic Footswitches

Linemaster’s Electrical Pneumatic Footswitches are designed for reliable operation across various environments, conforming to UL standards for safety and performance. These pneumatic footswitches, also known as air-operated footswitches, are ideal for wet environments because they eliminate the need for electricity to operate. When compressed, the footswitch sends a “puff” or “sip” of air through connected PVC tubing to an air switch, effectively protecting critical electrical components from moisture. This design eliminates the risk of user shock as no electrical components are housed within the footswitch itself. Additionally, these footswitches can be safely used in environments where flammable items may be present, as the electrical contacts are remotely controlled by the air pressure generated by the footswitch, ensuring safe and reliable operation in sensitive conditions.
