Foot Control Design & Production Process
Phase 1:Budgetary quote
- Concept → Share your vision with your Linemaster Switch Sales Representative.
- Collaboration → Identify the proper product which will meet your design requirements.
- Renderings → A high resolution image showing the top-level switch design is shared.
- Quote → A budgetary quote for production is shared based on estimated usage and options selected.

Phase 2:Prototypes (X-Numbers)
- Requirements → Specifications are updated as necessary to provide a prototype that is functionally as close to production as possible.
- Prototype/Redline Drawings → Drawings are completed to allow for quoting and assembly.
- Prototype Quote → A quote for low volume prototypes is provided to support your product development process.
- Build and Deliver → Custom parts are manufactured using our internal prototyping equipment and final assembly is completed.

Phase 3:Production Release
- Design Updates → Design is updated based on your feedback from use of the X-Number units
- Production Quote → Production volumes are quoted based on the final design after updates are applied.
- Documentation → Documents to support your product release are completed and sent.
- V&V Units → The Verification and Validation units are built using final production processes and equipment.
- Production Build → Final production of your custom product follows the timeline to support your annual volume requirements.
