Stock Room Associate (Plainfield Location)
Job Overview
The Stock Room Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and distributing materials and products in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role supports efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle materials safely and in an orderly manner.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming products and materials.
- Pick, package, wrap, and prepare products for shipment.
- Enter inventory and transaction data into the Syteline ERP system.
- Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of customer orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Support a workplace culture that values diversity, creativity, teamwork, and innovation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
Reports To: This position will report to the Stock Room Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing more than 30 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, stretch, and perform other physical activities as required.
Education and Experience:
Physical Requirements: <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of standing and walking.</li> <li>Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.</li> <li>Ability to perform repetitive movements and physical tasks throughout the workday.</li> </ul>
