Territorial Sales Manager

Job Overview

The Territorial Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within assigned U.S. states. This role develops strategic relationships, drives revenue growth, and ensures customer satisfaction through regular travel, customer visits, and consistent communication via phone and email. Travel is approximately 15–20%.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technical sales professional with strong territory management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within assigned territory and key accounts.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve predefined revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic and key customers.
  • Identify, develop, and manage project-based sales opportunities.
  • Create and deliver professional proposal presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance feedback to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Monitor and control expenses in alignment with budget guidelines.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Project, Design, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and cooperation while interacting with all company employees.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics standards, and ISO requirements.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ISO principles in alignment with Linemaster Switch Corporation’s ISO-certified environment.

Additional Information

Reports To: This position will report to the Director of Sales

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of technical sales experience, preferably in territorial and key account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Above-average computer and technical proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Familiarity with common business concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to engage effectively in business relationships with individuals and groups.
Preferred
  • Aptitude for electro-mechanical products.
  • Experience in project management within a sales environment.

Education and Experience:
