Overview: Inspect products and materials to ensure proper function and conformance to standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Inspects 1st pieces from each new job lot by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Inspects finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Processes returned products (RMAs).
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputs data into quality database.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

The Woodstock location serves as Linemaster’s headquarters, combining advanced manufacturing processes with skilled craftsmanship to produce high-quality foot controls. Spanning 50,000 square feet, the facility includes a drill room, production machining, paint room, assembly operations, warehouse, quality control, office administration, and an engineering department. Linemaster’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is evident in its operations at the Woodstock site, which plays a critical role in the company’s overall success.


Plainfield CT
Linemaster Switch Corporation’s Plainfield location features a 15,000-square-foot facility designed to enhance the company’s manufacturing and logistics capabilities. Of this space, 10,000 square feet is dedicated to a stock room and warehouse. The remaining 5,000 square feet houses the cable and sub-assembly departments, where skilled technicians produce high-quality wiring harnesses. This division is integral to the company’s operations, providing essential components that meet the stringent quality standards Linemaster is known for. The Plainfield facility’s specialized focus on cable production and inventory management supports Linemaster’s reputation for excellence and reliability in its products.
