Job Overview
Inspect products and materials to ensure proper function and conformance to standards.
First and Second Shift Positions
Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Inspects 1 st pieces from each new job lot by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Inspects finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Processes returned products (RMAs).
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputs data into quality database.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
